Homecoming is a Dream
Obtainability: Limited to the “New Years First Dream of the Year Scramble” event shop. This is Event Bonus Memoria and should be kept in case of a rerun.
MLB Effect: Anti-Curse [100%] & Anti-Darkness [100%] & Blast Damage Up [20%]
Effect Definitions:
Anti-Curse prevents the equipped unit from being afflicted with Curse. Curse is a Status Ailment that will damage the afflicted target for 15% HP per turn, make the target take 80% more damage from its weak element, and prevent the target from recovering HP.
Anti-Darkness prevents the equipped unit from being afflicted with Darkness. Darkness is a Status Ailment that will cause the afflicted target to have a 35% chance to miss their attacks, and it will also make the target take 80% more damage from its weak element.
Blast Damage Up is a straightforward buff that means Blast Discs will deal more damage. Blast Damage Up has a capped percentage at 100%.
TLDR: “Homecoming is a Dream” belongs in the Memoria Vault. It’s not great, but Anti-Darkness memoria can be hard to find as they’re always limited.
Review: “Homecoming is a Dream” isn’t great, but it’s not the worst memoria out there. It’s probably more helpful for new players than it is established ones, as many long-time players will have access to several Anti-Curse options that are far better to use and a growing number of Anti-Darkness ones-- however, do note that Anti-Darkness can only be found on either four-star welfare memoria or limited three-star gacha ones. If you somehow don’t have any Anti-Darkness memoria, you’ll want to keep “Homecoming is a Dream” for the future.
Hilariously, this memoria is an exact replica of “Like This Until When” except with worse passive ATK stats. Otherwise its effects are the same with the same percentages.
Other Anti-Curse memoria in the game:
(Limited Gacha 4*) “The Pumpkin King Is Very Pleased” Anti-Curse [100%] & Attack Up [15%] & Damage Increase [15%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Visit of the Masked Student Council” Anti-Curse [100%] & Damage Increase [15%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Like This Until When” Anti-Curse [100%] & Anti-Darkness [100%] & Blast Damage Up [20%]
(4*) “My Bible” Anti-Curse [100%] & Damage Increase [25%]
(3*) “My Things” Accele MP Gain Up [15%] & Anti-Curse [100%]
(2*) “The Way Home after the Rain (Seika)” Anti-Curse [100%] & Attack Up [10%]
(Limited 3*) “May the Wishes Be Heard” Anti-Curse [65%] & Anti-Burn [65%] & Anti-Poison [100%]
Other Anti-Darkness memoria in the game:
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Searching at the Beach” Anti-Darkness [100%] & Anti-Dazzle [100%] & Anti-Fog [100%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Until the Day We Reach the Stars” Anti-Darkness [100%] & Anti-Charm [100%] & Anti-Dazzle [100%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Good Child Good Child” Anti-Darkness [100%] & Anti-Dazzle [100%] & Anti-Fog [100%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Like This Until When” Anti-Darkness [100%] & Anti-Curse [100%] & Blast Damage Up [20%]
(Limited Gacha 3*) “Relaxing in the Park” Accele MP Gain Up [15%] & Anti-Darkness [100%]
(Limited Gacha 3*) “A Sea and Sky for Just the Two of Us” Anti-Darkness [100%] & Status Ailment Resistance Up [30%]
Memoria like “My Bible”, “Visit of the Masked Student Council”, or “The Pumpkin King Is Very Pleased” are better to use if you just need Anti-Curse as an effect, as you won’t be sacrificing potential damage when equipping them. However, you have less options when it comes to Anti-Darkness.
Most Anti-Darkness memoria don’t have a good offensive effect attached to them, making “Homecoming is a Dream” and “Like This Until When” the only ones with any potential benefit in the form of 20% Blast Damage Up. However, that only matters if you’re using a character who will be using Blast discs. If you aren’t, go for the memoria with the best passive ATK (or alternatively, whatever secondary effect you need most).
Before wrapping this review up, you should also consider if you need to use Anti-Curse or Anti-Darkness memoria at all. The benefit of Negate/Anti memoria is that they are fully preventative. Status Ailment Resistance Up can go up to 100% but you can still get hit by an Ailment, while you never will with an Anti/Negate effect.
However, modern Magia Record play has more alternatives. Instead of equipping straight-out Anti-Curse or Status Ailment Resistance Up, you could field a unit like Madoka & Iroha who will negate the first two Status Ailments for every unit on the board. Alternatively, characters like Kako Natsume will the effect “Remove Status Ailments” on their Magia/Doppel, letting you wipe clean all pesky ailments from your afflicted units.
Of course, sometimes prevention is the best approach. But there are multiple ways to deal with Status Ailments these days, including having units so powerful you don’t need to worry about them getting attacked, because you kill all your enemies first.
This memoria can go in your Memoria Vault until it’s needed.

Like This, For Now
Single Effect: Anti-Stun [100%] & Damage Increase [15%] & Regenerate HP [3%]
MLB Effect: Anti-Stun [100%] & Damage Increase [20%] & Regenerate HP [4%]
Effect Definitions:
Anti-Stun will prevent the equipped character from being hit by Stun. Stun is a Status Ailment that will cause the afflicted target to be unable to take any actions (attacks or skills) for the number of turns shown, and it will also make the target take 80% more damage from its weak element.
Damage Increase will increase the damage done by the equipped character’s attacks, and its effect takes place after the buffs and debuffs are calculated. Damage Increase and Damage Up are essentially the same effect, meaning you can have both side by side—however, notably Damage Increase does not have a 100% cap. Lastly, Damage Increase can be easier to find than Damage Up.
Regenerate HP will cause the equipped character to regenerate a percentage of their HP for the number of listed turns. The regen will occur at the end of the turn (note: the end of the enemy’s turn). Regenerate HP can stack.
TLDR: “Like This, For Now” is disappointing for a Limited memoria. It doesn’t offer much Damage Increase, especially when compared to free event rewards, and the Anti-Stun it offers is outclassed by an unlimited three-star memoria. It’s not bad by any means, but it’s just not amazing either. This memoria is exclusive to the “And From Here On” event gacha.
Review: This is a fairly decent memoria. “Like This, For Now” is average in that you can use it in a wide variety of situations with no issue. The 20% Damage Increase is on the low side, and the 15% Damage Increase for when it’s not max awakened is equivalent to several event reward memoria such as “Do Your Best, Little Savior” or “Visit of the Masked Student Council!”-- meaning that those event rewards are actually better to use if your “Like This, For Now” isn’t maxed.
In fact, if you want to understand how disappointing the 20% Damage Increase is, look at a free event reward memoria that most NA Refugees should have:
(Limited 4*) “Walking an Entwined Path” Damage Increase [30%] & Regenerate HP [5%]
That’s 30% Damage Increase. For a memoria that you got for free. Meanwhile, “Like This, For Now” is a limited memoria that is only 20% if you max awaken the thing. To say it’s disappointing is bit of an understatement.
What makes “Like This, For Now” acceptable is actually its Anti-Stun. Unlike a some comparative memoria such as “Feigning Innocence School Time,” you get 100% Anti-Stun regardless if it’s a single copy or a max awakened one. Stun is extremely obnoxious when it goes off and can potentially kill your characters, so you’ll definitely want to have a memoria that can negate it. However, there’s still a problem here-- there’s a much easier way to get Anti-Stun memoria in the game, and that would be found in the unlimited three-star memoria “A Rough Welcome in the Sewers.” Because guess what? This gives 100% Anti-Stun regardless of how awakened it is.
Perhaps in the day of old, when you could only have a max awakened “Walking an Entwined Path” if you spent actual money on it and when “Feigning Innocence School Time,” this memoria would have been better. It never would have been truly amazing, but it’d be an alternative to equipping “A Rough Welcome in the Sewers” where using it meant sacrificing a passive slot and missing out on extra damage-- but this aren’t those days anymore.
To be clear, this isn’t a memoria you should get rid of by any means. It’s not bad, it’s just very disappointing when you consider that it’s a limited. Don’t feel pressured to get this one, but you can equip it on your Supports if you feel so inclined. Besides, if you want to use a large team, more Anti-Stun memoria are better than one.

To Hope
Single Effect: Guardian on Allies with Critical Health [45%] (Self / 3 Turns)
MLB Effect: Guardian on Allies with Critical Health [55%] (Self / 3 Turns)
Effect Definitions:
Guardian will cause the equipped character to take an attack in place of an Ally, meaning that the character will physically move to block said attack. The equipped character and the protected Ally will both gain MP from being attacked. The effects of Charm, Stun, and Bind can prevent an Active Guardian from working, while passive sources of Guardian will still work. Lastly, Guardian will not active if both the equipped character and the Ally are hit by the same the same Blast attack.
TLDR: “To Hope” is enhancement fodder. This memoria is exclusive to the "And From Here On” event gacha.
Review: “To Hope” is completely awful. If your ally is at critical health, then a maximum of 55% of Guardian working is not going to cut it-- you need 100% to keep that character safe. One successful attack out of three could be enough to destroy that critical character.
Perhaps you’re thinking that the fact “To Hope” lasts for three turns is a decent enough tradeoff-- it’s not. Having allies sit at Critical Health for three turns is a very dangerous situation that needs to be rectified asap through a healing magia or connect, and again-- it only would take one attack or two to murder those who need to be protected. Expecting this memoria to guard your team for three turns is extremely unlikely.
Perhaps you’re trying to single out the “Critical” part here and not just any unit on the board... in which case, this still isn’t the memoria to use, because it’s still unlikely that your party will be completely protected.
In the end? This is complete Enhancement Fodder.

Kimochi and 5* Light Units
Uncapped list here.
This isn’t intended for high play, just a list for people who are struggling with who to consider. That’s why the list is divided into “good” “filler” and “bad”-- if you want something more substantial, look elsewhere.
Good: units that you absolutely want to include in here if you have them.
Filler: units you can use if you don’t have good units, or if you want to round out your teams.
Bad: units who will actively bring your team down and should be avoided.
Good Units for this Kimochi
Momoko Togame (Sister ver.)
One of the best units for this. Charge conservation on self, good disk set, good SE. Charge combo count up, the works: if you have her, use her. (good even if she is only 1s).
Ultimate Madoka-senpai
One of the best units for this. Charge conservation, okay-ish disk set. Good SE. If you have her, use her. (good even if she is only 1s).
Mitsune Miwa
Charge conservation on connect, charge disks, ect-- very good for this. (good even if she is only 1s).
Riko Chiaki
Lack of charge conservation makes her not great, but you can make her work. Good disks, ect. (good even if she is only 1s).
Tart
All blast disks. What more could you want? Look at all that tasty blast damage up in her SE. (good even if she is only 1s).
Tart (Final ver.)
Same as regular Tart-- has her own strengths and weaknesses though. She’s slightly more rounded and has more of a magia focus than regular Tart does-- Tart IMO is better for blasting. That doesn’t make final tart bad-- it’s a matter of taste I guess. (good even if she is only 1s).
Filler Units for this Kimochi
Yuna Kureha
She’ll be fine if you want to use her. She has very high damage output and great stats, but her flaw is her disk set. Otherwise a good filler unit (note: she’s weird as filler though because if you use her, you’ll want to build a team around her). (want her to be at least 2s).
Edit: Yuna has a team aura that gives Blast and Damage Up passively
Ultimate Madoka
Not bad by any means, but not the best either. Her SE active will be really helpful at least for its charged attack damage up + blast damage up. (good even if she is only 1s).
Iroha & Yachiyo (Final Battle ver.)
Not bad by any means, but not the best for this kimochi type. You can use if you want filler, will protect your team from stuff. (good even if they only 1s).
Hikaru Kirari
The definition of filler. Her connect gives charged attack damage up and blast damage up which is what you want so... sure? Her SE makes it so that she’ll fit on literally every team, so she won’t be the star but she can help you round it out. (want her to be at least 2s, but at 3s is more preferable).
Sakurako Hiiragi
Good stats, okay connect. She’s more magia-focused with her SE, but she can work as filler. (want her to be at least 2s).
Kanagi Izumi
She’s alright. Great ATK stats but might need some protection. Filler. (want her to be at least 2s).
Yukika Nanase
She’s kinda... well, you can use her if you want, even if you don’t utilize her whole attack up at critical health thing. She’s like Yuna in that she has some requirements in her setup for optimal play, but slightly worse imo. (want her to be at least 2s).
Madoka Kaname (Haregi ver.)
Very magia-focused but she can kinda work as filler. (want her to be at least 3s so you can take advantage of her support nature).
Iroha-chan
Not great, but not bad enough to be a bad unit outright. (want her to be at least 2s).
Sayuki Fumino
VERY DEBATABLE PLACEMENT. She is a good buffer and will make your team do more damage if you get off her Magia/Doppel, but she’s really built for Magia teams and not charge ones. If you do use her, try to get her magia/doppel off ASP. (want her to be at least 3s).
Iroha & Ui (Miko ver.)
Borderline a bad unit. However, the light attribute attack up for three turns as part of their SE Active just pushes them above bad. (they can probably work as 1s, but more is better).
Bad Units for this Kimochi
Sakurako Hiiragi (Swimsuit ver.)
Magia focused with a bit of charge focus, but not enough to bring her up to filler level.
Madoka Kaname
Madoka is great for Magia teams but you don’t need a magia team here.
Homura Akemi (Swimsuit ver.)
She’s a Magia-type with some support elements. Not great.
Minou
Very magia focused. Not going to be helpful at all.
Kokoro Awane
Sorry Kokoro, but tanks aren’t good for this. Probably the worst unit outright to use. :(
